Companies House Web-Filings

Any changes within your company you need to inform Companies House by filing the relevant forms.  We can do this for you via our secured web-filing gateway. 

You can currently file Companies House forms 288a, 288b, 288c for officer appointments and details and form 287 to change the registered office. These services are free of charge and there for your convenience.

The Annual Return

From 1 October 2008 Companies House will no longer be issuing the "shuttle annual return", that is the pre-populated return. They will only issue notices to complete a return, expecting electronic filing.

Our gateway also allows you to complete and submit the annual return online and book the filing fee to your account. All companies formed through our system will get an automated reminder 6 weeks before the annual return is due.

When you file the return through our gateway we will charge a maintenance fee of just £4.00+vat

The Company Authentication Code (CAC)

The CAC is stored automatically in your secure area on the site. This is accessed under the heading "doc auth". You can add other companies not formed through our systems into this secure area and file through our gateway, these companies too will get automated reminders about the annual return filing date.

If you do not know the CAC, do not worry, when you create a new 6 digit code and enter that into our gateway, you will automatically receive a letter by email to be copied to the companies letter head to be sent to Companies House as authority for the CAC.
