Overview Of BTC's Online Company Services System

The following provides an overview of the system and what you can expect. Don’t worry if you get stuck as there is plenty of help available on our website; if you prefer you could still order by phone, fax or e-mail and retain most of the benefits listed below.

Our website is the place to form all your companies, from private companies limited by shares, PLC’s to guarantee and charitable companies. (We charge a £5.00 supplement for BTC staff to process the details on your behalf). For more complex issues such as share rights there is your own area to edit Articles of Association tailored for your own use and requirements. We do suggest that you let us undertake this process for you until you are confident in this area. Sensitive words are also dealt with within the system, they are automatically flagged as sensitive and a supporting document template is created.

However, no matter how the company is formed, you will receive the following:

  • PDF of the incorporation Form by email, at the moment of submission.
  • PDF’s of the certificate of incorporation and Articles of Association as well as an invoice at the moment of incorporation.
  • Some packs include a PDF version of the completed company registers and share certificates.
  • Your printed pack of documents despatched to you by fist class post (if ordered).

The site is also an online management system for all companies formed linking directly to Companies House. By “logging in” to your own secure area you can:

  • See all companies that have formed through the system,
  • See all their original filed details,
  • Update your account details,
  • See your order history,
  • See details and balances of your account with BTC, and
  • Pay BTC account balance on line through 'RBS World Pay'

The system can do more than this, it;

  • Stores all company authentication codes automatically for each company, these can be seen in the section “Company Authentication Codes” in the company documents section.
  • You can add other previously formed companies to this section to make it a complete system for you practice allowing them access to the Companies House Gateway.
  • All companies then listed can have e-filing for standard forms done here, including Appointment, removal and change of director and secretarial details, either individual or corporate.
  • All companies here will have an email sent to the login email address one month prior to the annual return date as a reminder to file.
  • All annual returns can also be filed electronically through the site and the filing fee booked to your account.
  • Change of accounting date can be filed as well as change of registered office and ‘SAIL’ facilities (Single Alternate Inspection Location).
  • You can have Articles set up on the system which are standard to just your firm
